October 30th "Rally to Restore Sanity"

On October 30th I went to "The Rally to Restore Sanity". It was a public rally held in Washington DC from 12-3 PM and was located on the Washington Mall near the Jefferson Memorial.
The event was organized by two comedians/political satirists John Stewart and Steven Colbert. The Rally was created to create awareness of the majority of America is common people who dont stand to the far left or right, but people who just simply want to live and let live and dont care about what you think just as you dont care what they think. As well as to help keep things simple in the media and government

I enjoyed the rally for 2 reasons: 1) I realized that most people in this nation just want to keep things within reason and just try to live from day to day without having problems or assaulted with biased news/government. and 2) Its not just college students that want things to be right in the country, its every age that wants simplicity.

I volunteered for this event because I strongly support this kind of free thinking and expressionism, showing that its what america really is.

Will provide pictures and video on next post
